Kwalitee Issues

no_pax_headers

If you use Mac OS X >= 10.6, use gnu tar (/usr/bin/gnutar) to avoid PAX headers. It's also important to rename (shorten) long file names (>= 100 characters) in the distribution.

Error: pax_global_header,pax_global_header

has_meta_yml

Add a META.yml to the distribution. Your buildtool should be able to autogenerate it.

buildtool_not_executable

Change the permissions of Build.PL/Makefile.PL to not-executable.

manifest_matches_dist

Run a proper command ("make manifest" or "./Build manifest", maybe with a force option), or use a distribution builder to generate the MANIFEST. Or update MANIFEST manually.

Error:

  • MANIFEST (15) does not match dist (41):
  • Missing in MANIFEST: APIs.md, README.md, lib/CljPerl/Evaler.pm, lib/CljPerl/SocketServer.pm, lib/CljPerl/anyevent-dbi.clp, lib/CljPerl/anyevent-http.clp, lib/CljPerl/anyevent-httpd.clp, lib/CljPerl/anyevent.clp, lib/CljPerl/core.clp, lib/CljPerl/file.clp, lib/CljPerl/quoi.clp, lib/CljPerl/quoi/ajax.clp, lib/CljPerl/quoi/comet.clp, lib/CljPerl/quoi/default_template.clp, lib/CljPerl/quoi/menu.clp, lib/CljPerl/quoi/table.clp, lib/CljPerl/uri.clp, lib/CljPerl/xml.clp, t/about.clp, t/basic_syntax.t, t/dbi.clp, t/file.clp, t/file.t, t/http.clp, t/httpd.clp, t/index.clp, t/quoi_app.clp, t/timer.clp
  • Missing in Dist: lib/CljPerl/Eval.pm, t/CljPerl.t

use_strict

Add 'use strict' (or its equivalents) to all modules, or convince us that your favorite module is well-known enough and people can easily see the modules are strictly written.

Error: CljPerl::Evaler

prereq_matches_use

List all used modules in META.yml requires

Error:

  • AnyEvent::Handle
  • AnyEvent::Socket
  • Protocol::WebSocket::Frame
  • Protocol::WebSocket::Handshake::Server

has_meta_json

Add a META.json to the distribution. Your buildtool should be able to autogenerate it.

meta_yml_has_license

Define the license if you are using in Build.PL. If you are using MakeMaker (Makefile.PL) you should upgrade to ExtUtils::MakeMaker version 6.31.

has_known_license_in_source_file

Add =head1 LICENSE and/or the proper text of the well-known license to the main module in your code.

has_separate_license_file
