Kwalitee Issues
- no_broken_module_install
-
Upgrade the bundled version of Module::Install to the most current release. Alternatively, you can switch to another build system / installer that does not suffer from this problem. (ExtUtils::MakeMaker, Module::Build both of which have their own set of problems.)
- manifest_matches_dist
-
Run a proper command ("make manifest" or "./Build manifest", maybe with a force option), or use a distribution builder to generate the MANIFEST. Or update MANIFEST manually.
Error:
- MANIFEST (6) does not match dist (23):
- Missing in MANIFEST: META.yml, inc/Module/Install.pm, inc/Module/Install/Base.pm, inc/Module/Install/Can.pm, inc/Module/Install/Fetch.pm, inc/Module/Install/Makefile.pm, inc/Module/Install/Metadata.pm, inc/Module/Install/Scripts.pm, inc/Module/Install/Win32.pm, inc/Module/Install/WriteAll.pm, script/astt.pl, t/Astt.t, t/ast, t/ast.tt, t/ast1, t/ast2, t/pod.tt
- main_module_version_matches_dist_version
-
Make sure that the main module name and version are the same of the distribution.
- no_pod_errors
-
Remove the POD errors. You can check for POD errors automatically by including Test::Pod to your test suite.
Error: Template-Ast-0.02/script/astt.pl -- Around line 137: Non-ASCII character seen before =encoding in '(ÃÃÃà ´º),'. Assuming CP1252
- meta_yml_declares_perl_version
-
If you are using Build.PL define the {requires}{perl} = VERSION field. If you are using MakeMaker (Makefile.PL) you should upgrade ExtUtils::MakeMaker to 6.48 and use MIN_PERL_VERSION parameter. Perl::MinimumVersion can help you determine which version of Perl your module needs.
- has_meta_json
-
Add a META.json to the distribution. Your buildtool should be able to autogenerate it.
- meta_yml_has_provides
-
Add all modules contained in this distribution to the META.yml field 'provides'. Module::Build or Dist::Zilla::Plugin::MetaProvides do this automatically for you.
- meta_yml_has_repository_resource
-
Add a 'repository' resource to the META.yml via 'meta_add' accessor (for Module::Build) or META_ADD parameter (for ExtUtils::MakeMaker).
- has_separate_license_file
-
This is not a critical issue. Currently mainly informative for the CPANTS authors. It might be removed later.
